Dr. June Carroll is a family physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. She is a Professor and Clinician Scientist in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Carroll’s academic focus is the integration of genomic medicine into primary care. Dr. Carroll is the Co-Founding Director of Genetics Education Canada – Knowledge Organization (GECKO: www.geneticseducation.ca), the aim of which is to educate non-genetics health professionals in genomic medicine. She is currently the Provincial Primary Care Lead in Genetics, Co-Chair of the Primary Care Reference Table, and member of the Genetics Education Reference Table of the Ontario Provincial Genetics Program.
